Word List Lesson Five

Instead of using a word list for lesson five, ask the student to write a short story about their family or another familiar subject. They should include as many possessive form words as possible. Have the students underline each possessive word so you can check for correct spelling.

Example:

I live with my husband and our two children. My husband's name is Ralph. Ralph's favorite color is green. His favorite thing to do is mow the lawn. Every Friday he complains because our neighbor's garbage is in our yard.
