Integrating Career Awareness Study Circle
For instructors who have not participated in the Instruction to Support Career Pathways blended and extended learning opportunity, this study circle introduces practitioners to the career planning lessons and tools contained in the Integrating Career Awareness into the ABE and ESOL Classroom (ICA) curriculum guide and other career planning resources. This study circle is designed to be delivered in three sessions; it was developed with scaffolding from session to session in mind so the sessions build on each other. Each session is approximately 1.5 hours long, with 1-1.5 hours of participant activity assignments in between. The three sessions are:
- Session #1: The How and Why of Career Planning
- Session #2: Exploring Career Planning Resources
- Session #3: Tying it all Together: Career Planning Skills
